Hello. Right new TV help!!
Right, we've got a new TV, 3scarts. 1 Arial port.
And: 1 Freeview Box, 1 DVD Recorder and 1 VCR.
So, we also need the DVD Recorder, to be able to record on one channel, whilst we watch another? I know you can do this, as thats the reason we bought it! So basically, any help / ideas on-which to plug what scart where?!?
Ask for more details.

Many many thanks!
Hope everyone had a good Christmas.
Thanks,
Kirk.

Firstly you need to find out if the dvd recorder has 2 tuners built in or only one if it only has one it means you can only record the channel your watching so you cannot record one channel and watch another through that unit .If you check and give details I`ll try to explain how to connect up the units I`ll check back later tonight As you didnt reply I`ll tell you what to do if it has two tuners and each scart is for one tuner firstly connect by scart the freeveiw to one scartsocket then out of the dvd recorder to the vcr then connect from the vcr by scart to one scart socket marked av1 on the tv then take the aerial cable to the freeveiw box rfin connection out from coaxial socket by flylead to dvd recorder which should have a rf socket same as freeview unit another fly lead from dvd unit to vcr then a third flylead from coaxial out to tv airial socket this is called daisy chaining but as aerial circuit will only work as long as the analogue signal is sent out when the switchover happens this will no longer function and can be disconnected
