Are there any hotels in the UK that allow you to smoke in the rooms?

I know that alot of them ban smoking altogether but are there any at all that allow you to smoke in the room?

Hotels can still designate rooms as smoking or non-smoking. Just ask for a smoking room.

I don't think you get fined, but if the owners of the hotel find out that you are smoking in the room (and it's obvious from the smell!) they could ask you to stop, ask you to leave or ask you to pay a fee for the extra cleaning. Also, if they get caught allowing you to smoke in their hotel room, they could get into more trouble than you could. Are you aware that it is against the law and that you could set of fire/smoke alarms and inconvenience everyone in the hotel, including yourself, so please don't be selfish and go outside the hotel to enjoy your cigarette.
