Maybe with kittens and puppies.

At one time I had met a guy that totally took me by surprise. The feelings I had, that instant chemistry, the attraction........
It sounds like a fairy tale story......then when I got to know the guy better reality hit hard.
It wasn't love at first site, it was infatuation.

No. All you see at love at first sight is looks. You have not gotten to know the person. Love is knowing the person through and through. Love is knowing the mind and heart which isn't love at first sight. I do not believe in love at first sight, it isn't real.

:-)

You will hear yes and you will hear no, I say no and if you think about it you will understand why. If there is REAL love at first sight then why are people always telling you to get to know somebody before you have sex, kiss them, give them money, let them meet your parents etc. and also how can you love someone who you dont know? I say lust at first sight, yes, love......not likely. Now the idea is fun to promote....simply bc it gives people hope and its an interesting concept.

I believe you can have lust at first sight but you can't love someone without getting to know them. Lust can sometimes feel like love but there is a big diffrence unless you are gonna be in bed together all day and even that will get old.

I believe in strong emotional attraction at first sight, but not love. True real love takes time to develop and sustain.

Let me ask you this, is it possible to feel the following things for a person the first moment you see them:
- you know all their flaws and love them anyway
- would die for them
- want to spend the rest of your life with them
- love every part of them

That's not really plausible. So to answer your question I'd say LUST at first sight, but not necessarily love.

I would like to believe in love at first sight, but I think it is more like lust. But it has never happened to me so I hate to say for sure.
