Why, if you are thinking about converting, its my job, literally, a woman, i once converted, said she had once been a christian, then became a buddhist, then a jew, then a sikh, then a hindu, then a christian, and then her father died, he was hit by a drunk driver, and fell off a motorway which was 250 feet above the ground, he died, straight away, she became a non-believer, many years later, i went to her, and managed to get her converted, and this is what she told me,
"I have seen, and experienced many other religions, including different types of christianity, and i could not find peace within, but once i became a muslim, i feel light, and at home"
Believe me, when i say this, the stuff you see on t.v., the people you see on t.v., they are not muslim, islam says that the only person in the entire universes who can murder another, is god, and those who kill with wrong intentions will be thrown into a snake pit in hell, and if one of those snakes were to enter earth, and dropped a drop of venom upon earth, not one plant would ever grow again, and that person would be in the pit for eternity, being bitten, and bittten and bitten, the only time a muslim can kill somebody is if the person has killed someone else, if you feel the person, is putting your life in danger, or if the person is putting somebody elses life in danger

I did study genuine Islam and it is a fantastic religion when practised in pure form, and I did consider converting, but I knew it was not the right time for me to convert (another story, some other time maybe). I believe I stay where I am for now by God's will because I am in a good position to defend genuine Islam against the negative portrayal which we tend to see so often.
I guess I could be regarded as muslim in that I am in peaceful submission to God (much of the time lol!), but not Muslim - as in practising the religion.

I haven't based my views on anything reported in the media. I've taken several college courses, conversed with people who've lived with Muslims, and done a lot of reading. And the verdict is this:
Why would anyone follow a religion founded by a pedophile? It boggles the mind.

No . There is no proof of ANY Allah or God (s) .
Therefore NONE of the Silly religions interest me . But , Islam apparently instills hatred and violence in its members, as well as treating women as second class citizens and homosexuals as evil . No Thanks I'll stick with reality .
dingbat2 ... Then your sacrd Qu'ran says you are an infidel and should be killed . ( or at the very least you should be living toIslamic Law and pay a special tax to Islam ).
Fahad K . I think you just posted a lot of crap ... most of it made up to make yourself and your religion seem "worthy" .

I've read the Quran and I compared it to the new testamnet and, while i find much admirable in Islam, I find the New testament muc superior ethically and theologically to the Quran and Christ much superior to Mohammed

No, because just because you understand something doesn't make it right for you. Example. I understand that my husband is cheating on me, but it doesn't make me want to do the same to him.
You have to know what you believe and stand on that unless you will fall for anything.
