My sister has been sentenced the following, can you explain it to me?
Also, she has already done about 6 months, how will that add in?

Defendant is hereby Adjudicated guilty
155 DAYS OCJ (Osceola County Jail) W/155 DAYS CTS; COUNT 3
18 MONTHS DOC W/155 DAYS CTS; COUNTS 1, 2
concurrent: to all counts & sentences.

The end result is she was sentenced to 18 months in the DOC (Department of Corrections) which is prison.

She was also sentenced to 155 days in OCJ, however that time is concurrent (at the same time) as the prison term so at the end of the 18 months she will be done. What you listed above does not specifically address the time served so it is hard to say what will happen with that.

If she was doing time for another charge before this, she will probably have to complete that time before the 18 months begins.

If the six months was time awaiting trial, that time would normally shorten the overall time in prison as time already served. If that is the case, she would get out in about 12 months.

I read it to mean she was sentenced to 155 days in OCJ, and they gave her credit for 155 days served. Then she was sentenced to 18 months in prison, and was also given credit for the 155 days served. Bottom line, she still has about 12 months to serve.
