Does this mean that sometimes you have to really 'fight' to get the person you love to fall in love with you? Or that there will be times when you feel like you should give up but something (love) involuntarily keeps you determined? Opinions please!!

There's no such thing as a perfect relationship. Every relationship, especially the good ones, take work. Even the "dream" couples have to work at it. The good relationships that last for life have their good years and their bad ones. You have to be willing to face both together.

Just means that even when you love someone, there are bumps in the road and obstacles to overcome. Love doesn't mean it's all smooth sailing and sunny days. Even people who love one another dearly have disagreements and hardships in their relationship. The depth of their love and the strength of their character helps determine if they come through those issues together or not.
