okay i was with a guy for about 5 months and he started messing around with other girls that were my friends so we are over now(we kinda dumped each other). Then i dated this guy for abotu 4 months and he was concieted so i dumped him.Then i dated this other guy for like a month and he dumped me bcuz i didnt walk up to him in school bcuz his friends were jerks and told me to get on my knees and **** so i didnt go to his locker. I need advice on what to look for in a guy and how to keep a guy. PLEASE HELP!!!!

you look for what you want. first guy cheated, second guy was conceited, third guy was just an asshole. you know what you want, quit hooking up with guys you know you aren not going to end up with. as far as keeping one, once you get the first part done, you will know what needs to be done. be truthful, be adaptable to change, and give, and expect, happiness.

How old are u? First u don't need a guy and u sure as hell don't need to keep one either. Just be happy and care-free u have the rest of ur life to worry about relationshits. Focus on u and what u want to do in life. There is nothing wrong with u, be picky and selective on who u go out with. Maybe u should be more careful on who u find attractive and who u date. Get to know that person for a while then date him. Make sure he is a nice, respectful boy not a jerk. Look for someone that is always polite and respectful who hangs around nice and respectful boy, that is kind of shy. THose type of guys make great boyfriends and make u happy, don't go for the cocky, smart-asses, popular guy those are jerks and will probably cheat on u. Oh and the most important thing to know is what kind of father that guy has, the better the relationship he has with his dad the more likely he will be a good man. Cause his dad is his role model of what a man is....

The first question I would ask myself if I were in your postition is "do I really need to be with anyone right now?" And if you are looking for the perfect guy, you won't find him.
I know that neither of these comments directly answer your question, but they will help you to assess where you are at in your life and help you to not set any unrealistic expectations.
With that said... Pick about four or five qualities you really want in a guy. If you find someone who meets that criteria and makes you feel special then pursue a relationship with him. I would state your intentions *eventually*, a long-term realtionship, and if he doesn't want that then he's not for you.

maybe you need to get to know the guy first!! Then maybe you would know almost everything about him...that way you wont have so many breakups! You actually get to determine if he's the right guy for you BEFORE you date him. When you meet the right match you will know! Trust me.

just wait for the right guy. when you find him you will know, I know i'm not much help but that's what I would do. And if your boyfriend and or his friends don't treat you right, just don't go there.
