With an open mind, of course.

I've had a pretty unstable life full of major changes. So they tend to scare the crap out of me. But when it's obvious that the change is a positive one, I move past the trepidation rather quickly and embrace it. I have learned to be very adaptable.

Even wanted and needed change is scary. I start by setting my resolve to accept the unknown as it comes (that is the hard part for me- I'm a planner). I try and lessen the impact by being prepared for what I can be. Then you take a deep breath and jump. In my experience, things get worse before they get better in situations of major upheaval. When or if you hit that dip, affirmations are corny but helpful to me: I just remind myself the reason for the change and tell myself I can handle it. Repeat as needed.

I embrace it with prayer first and foremost. There is nothing new today in the minds of men and women, which is different from when CHRIST died upon the cross, so that our sins would be forgiven, and we now have savation.

That being said, GOD said "I have not given you a spirit of fear". So I trust GOD, pray for guidance, wisdom, knowledge amid understanding that I may make the right choices given to that which I am left to choose from, knowing all the while, GOD has already prepared me for what I am to face, and comfort knowing HE is with me in all I do.

With both arms spread wide and a huge smile on my face.

I know change is very difficult but without change we just get stale.

There is a GREAT book about change called Who Moved the Cheese. It really helped.

Sometimes kicking and screaming, other times just accepting what is to be. Sometimes jumping in with both feet before looking.
But, above all, learning all the facts, sometimes after becoming involved. Then making the choices that are best for me.

I typically think about it for a couple of days. Weigh the possible results and then choose the change that will be more likely to benefit my kids, my family, my neighbors and myself.

Once I have had enough time to think the change through, it doesn't effect me.

If I don't like the change, I will consider how I can change it again. If I can't do anything about the change, I have no choice but to accept it and make the best of it. If I like the change, I rejoice and be happier!

I detest changes, so I don't embrace them. I think sometimes we change things just for the sake of change. I say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

It depends on the major changes. Some are faced with fear and trepidation. Others are warmly welcomed and looked forward to, and my mind opens up to them.
