When I go into depressive episodes, I feel like I got run over by a truck all the time. I will be exhausted no matter how much (or little) sleep I get, I have headaches all the time, wake up every morning sick to my stomach, aches and pains in my joints... these are psychosomatic symptoms (real physical symptoms with no physical cause) and they are common in people with depression. Ask your GP to recommend you to a good psychiatrist who can help you tackle both the mental and physical symptoms of depression. Good luck to you.

if you went to your regular doctor, that was your first mistake...when you have depression, the doctor to see is a psychiatrist, they are much more knowledgeable about medications and treatment of mental health issues. As for your chronic fatigue, one avenue to explore is the possibility of obstructive sleep apnea, a cardinal sign is constant fatigue.
