Scientists say…It’s primarily caused by a rapid increase in man made greenhouse gases and the reduction of the earth ability to compensate for the increase of those gases.

Sceptic and Deniers say…It’s not happening. I don’t believe that it’s happening. It’s the volcanoes. It’s the sun. It’s not my fault. It’s the moon. It’s a commie plot. Uranus is getting hot (and sweaty). Al Gore is a democrat. We’re still just coming out of the last ice age. It’s the hole in the ozone. It’s natural. Cows did it. It’s what “they” want you to believe. Just look at the hockey stick graph. It warmed before it’ll warm again. Senator so-and-so has a list. I saw this show called Swindle or something. Liberals want to take away my SUV. Scientist invented it to get more funding. I saw a picture of a temperature sensor somewhere. Rush said so. Bill O’Reilly said so. What’s so wrong with warm? Man is too insignificant to affect the climate.

Now who is undecided?

Very confusing, isn't it? Deniers are very slippery - they won't commit to any one explanation because then they can easily be proven wrong. They just say 'well maybe AGW is wrong and maybe it's this or that or the other...'.

It's not the Sun, it's not the Earth's natural cycles, and it's not galactic cosmic rays. The only theory which even remotely explains the scientific observations is the anthropogenic global warming theory. The deniers won't admit it, but AGW is really the only plausible explanation.

Well, you’re a little behind on the science; the newer studies are showing no or little connection between CO2 and global warming. But the IPCC won’t look at them. The IPCC stopped looking at the science in about 2005.

As a skeptic, I can PROVE global warming is happening, I can show you a glacier that has retreated back to where it was about 5,000 years ago, this means that about 5,000 year ago we had global cooling.

But lets look at your list,

volcanoes, well volcanoes can cool the planet slightly.

The sun, without the sun we couldn’t have global warming at all, so the sun has a big factor in global warming, but the research I’ve seen show simultaneous warming on Earth and Mars, so the sun may be responsible for as much as 50% of the total warming.

It’s not my fault and it’s a commie plot, I’ve never seen those two, not to say someone somewhere didn’t say it, but I’ve never seen them

Uranus is getting hot (and sweaty), it’s Mars and planets don’t sweat.

Al Gore is a democrat, I have a lot of problem with Al Gore, but being a democrat isn’t one of them. If he’s believes in global warming he certainly doesn’t act like it. His movie has something like 35 errors in it.

It’s the hole in the ozone. I’ve seen no science on this so it’s doubtful.

It’s natural, could be we need to wait for the studies to be completed.

look at the hockey stick graph. Yes you should look at the hockey stick graph and realize the IPCC still hasn’t come out and say the graph is wrong, at least they are not using it anymore, also the IPCC may have falsified data and destroyed evidence.

It warmed before it’ll warm again, that much is true but you left out the part where the planet has cooled before and will again.

It Senator so-and-so has a list. Rush said so. Bill O’Reilly said so. As a skeptic I really don’t care what senator or ex-vice president has to say or Rush or Bill for that matter I want to see the science.

I saw this show called Swindle or something. They got some things right and something wrong the skeptics did a good job of taking it apart.

Liberals want to take away my SUV. Most of the solutions to global warming tend to take things away from people or take away their choice or force them to pay some third world country a bunch of money without ever addressing what they consider the source of the problem.

Scientist invented it to get more funding No they did but many of them are using global warming to get funding. Just like they did in the 70’s when some said there would be a new ice age. (Forgot about that one did we)

I saw a picture of a temperature sensor somewhere. Yes there are people checking out the sensor and many of them are not up to the specifications that are required. Basically if you don’t have good data you can’t claim there is warming.

What’s so wrong with warm? Nothing, in fact every time we’ve had warming we have prosperity, according to the records we have.

Man is too insignificant to affect the climate. On a local level that’s not true, on a larger global level it may be true right now, note I said may, but I’ll wait for the science to say so.

Also don’t forget there was a report that man wasn’t responsible for global warming, the skeptics tore it apart almost as fast as it hit the web. He was trying to show that skeptics aren’t really skeptics but it backfired.

From what I have learned and heard is.
The Earth is constantly changing. Because the Universe is constantly changing. It is not possible for the Universe to change and not for all the other sources to stay the same.

As far as humans causing global warming. We can't live here and not affect our surroundings. But so are the volcanoes, which is a natural occurrence.

I think what we actually do, like cutting down forests and jungles may cause a major damage. But the other things, I feel that nature can control what we do, rather than us controlling it, in other ways.

I worry more about the roaming black holes out there, that may come along in my lifetime and suck us up!

Taking the resources from the earth, will have an effect. You have to have a replacement for the things you draw out. But as far as warming. The earth has been tilting for ions. I don't think it's a liberal thing or a right wing fanatic thing.
It's a nature thing.

worldwide Warming is a organic technique the earth has long previous by for hundreds of years. in certainty it extremely is been happening way till now we've been given here. The 'worldwide Warming' challenge is actual a deceptive sequence of records led to by employing Al Gore. Are people contributing? confident. Will it end the worldwide as we no it? No. as a remember of certainty people are purely catalysts to this organic incidence. If everybody argues this think of approximately ice back on your chemistry training it melts by employing itself although with exterior catalysts it melts quickly yet in contrast to that ice the earth will make greater.

I heard that it was a myth caused by Bill Clinton's affair and his invasion of Iraq and stealing the election for Bush and Carter's habitat for humanity scam, and the UN, and maybe it was really Hillary and Vince Foster (notice how he "died" just before we found out about global warming) not to mention the floride in our drinking water and the "evolution" conspiricy and we never landed on the moon because the world is flat and Darwin, Ted Kennedy, Kerry, Kerry, Dukakis, liberal, and you are either for us or against us.

Mission Accomplished!!

Yes. You are right! After reading your question I saw Jesus or Elvis, not sure which.

Danged tree-huggers, ruining the economy, smuggling in illegal aliens and won't admit that all the fossil fuels were burned by the communist-liberal-muslim democrats. Conservatives have not contributed, how much warming can a burning book generate after all.

Whether? OMG! More eloquent than a cow-pie in a punch-bowl.

In my opinion i think there are all thinking in the bad way.
The human activity has a direct action on water cycle ( deforestations, drainages, waterprof surfaces, overpumping of underground water etc)
The result is the droughts and dryness of soils wich directly increase co2 level in atmosphere ( non recycling) and increse the temperature buy direct efect of sunrays on dry surfaces.

The solution to resolve the problem and restore the climat modifications is the globale water resource managment.

This concept is promote by the french association "Les biefs du Pilat".

http://pagesperso-orange.fr/biefs.dupilat/

It consist to catch the overflow in the rivers and transfert it with canals (1% slop ) and infiltate it drop by drop all alone the canals in deep spaces to refeel the underground reserves of water.

Global Warning: The earth isn't flat!

the imaginary myth of "global warming" is based on a single study that found the earth's average temperature increased approximately 0.6 degrees in 100 years.

first, 100 years ago, the low-tech thermometers used for recording temeperature were nowhere NEAR as accurate as today's electronic devices. The 0.6 degrees difference is much, much less than the measurement error between then and now.

second, on a planet that is estimated to be 4.5 Billion years old, 100 years is much, much less than a blink of an eye. If you wanted to gather enough data to establish a trend, let's say you wanted one-one hundredth of a percent, or 0.01 % of the earth's lifespan. that means gathering actual data for 450,000 years - WITH THE SAME INSTRUMENTS

global warming plays on your fears and pushes emotional buttons. it's NOT based on ANY legitimate scientific research, only on the UNPROVEN and UNPROVABLE theories of a few people who are more driven by a political agenda than they are interested in real science
