Breastfeed! It's the best way.
If you're not, aerobic exercise and strength training is the next best.
If you eat healthy and exercise there is no reason why you can't get rid of extra fat.
Extra skin is another issue though. A lot of women think that their "baby belly" is fat, but it's actually stretched out skin. That won't ever go away, unless you get a tummy tuck. Skin that was stretched past its elasticity remains stretched out.
Breastfeeding or not, your boobs probably won't ever be the same as they were prepregnancy. They grew and became stretched out during pregnancy, and even if you don't nurse, they will (or did?) fill with milk and become engorged those first few days after delivery. That skin, just like the belly skin, won't be the same ever.

Exercise and diet will help with the weight and tone you up. start slow as you are still healing. Check with your Doctor to see what is recommended for you and your circumstances. Walking will help as a starting point. If the weather is to bad to get out doors walk up and down stairs. Push yourself but not to hard when you first start the expand the time and speed you walk. Wear a support Bra as going without will cause tissue break down and sagging breast. You will also need to work your upper body as this will strengthen the mussels that keep your breast from sagging as well.
Good Luck and congratulations!

it only take 12 weeks to go from fat to fit don't eat red meat do eat green veg's; get you a bally memberships and use it every day ; and one last thing when you can lots of sex with your baby's father (none of that laying on your back stuff work up a sweat) it will cut down on the stress and put you in shape to chase that new baby around. so break out the baby stroller and hit the mall if you cant afford ballys so eat right work out and lose that baby fat; don't do one of those crazy diets you want to lose fat and muscle no man want a skinny fat person( one of those girls who look slim but have no muscle tone and all fat it may look good but men hate it)

Hopefully you are breast feeding it is a great way to re-tighten your abs and lose the extra weight (you burn a huge amount of calories when breastfeeding). Try to nurse your child for at least 6 months and your breasts will return to their pre-size and remain firm. You can do simple exercises as well like crunches and so on but nursing your child is the best way to look like your old self again. Good Luck!

consider the changes in your body gifts rather than curses. you just gave birth and your body will never be the same. take the baby for at least 2 long walks daily, invest in a backpack, and eat a healthy diet. learn to love yourself cuz a secure woman with curves is far more attractive than a skinny woman who hates herself.

the key is to tighten all the loose muscles around the belly....i would usually say crunches and sit ups...but there is and easier way....get one of those work out balls.....they work very good....believe it or not....running and walking help remove all excess fat cells too.......most important...watch how you eat...because....you will gain more weight if you don't...
swimming is VERY good too.
you must set a schedule and stick too it....
Good Luck....
