I wouldn't date someone 12 years younger then me, as I wouldn't want to go to jail over anyone, and 12 years would put them underage. I also wouldn't date someone who was 18 as I think there lifestyle would conflict with mine and I don't see much that the 2 of us could relate to. However I would date someone who had a similar lifestyle to that of my own no matter what there age was. I've dated a woman that was 9 years older and dated a few that were younger. The age doesn't make the difference the lifestyle, personality, goals etc makes all the difference.

It certainly does happen. Although I don't agree with it until the younger of the two (whether that be a guy or a girl!) is over 18. Before that there are legal issues and strange red flags start to raise when a thirty-something is going after a teenager. But really, love and attraction are based on maturity, personality, and similarities...not age.

I am dating a girl 12 years younger than me. I enjoy my time with her. We are not in love with each other.

I've dated a guy 12 years older then me. It didn't last very long. A couple months maybe. He wanted me to commit to him, he was ready for marriage and blah blah blah...I wasn't. So there is a down fall for dating so much older.

As long as she is over 18 years old, age doesn't matter

my last gf was 10 years apart.....So yes?? Still lots of problems involved as she was in college and I had a real job and that was a problem a lot of a time because she had lots of free time and I did not and she saw it as neglect even though I spent every bit of free time I had with her....So I am not saying no but it is hard......

It depends on both of their ages. 50 vs. 38 doesn't seem to be a problem.
21 vs. 9 is illegal, immoral and disgusting.
