I like this guy and I am pretty sure he likes me too but we r always joking with eachother over how obvious it is we like eachother. His best friend tells me he wants to ask me out but I think he is too shy to go through with it. How do I subtly tell him that I would say yes if he did or what are my other options?

Well, maybe you should ask him out yourself. Or make it casual and say, "why don't we get together and do something?" Then you're basically taking the heat off of him. Or even jokingly say (considering you two sound like you joke around and tease each oher alot in a fun way), "Well, if someone ever decided to ask me out, I'd say yes!" Things like that might work.

If you guys have the kind of relationship you have described, it becomes clear that you also have a good rapport. Since you obviously want to advance this relationship and move it up to a different level, why don't you simply let him know how you feel directly.If his best friend is correct about his feelings for you and that he is just too shy to ask you out, this will resolve all those issues and create the atmosphere for the two of you. If it is obvious that you like each other , why do you have to be subtle. My advise is to just go for it , let him know you love him , and maybe, by the start of the new year, you will be a couple.I wish you the best.

Well, firstly i didnt like the way yhoo used manipulation to get answers.
Secondly, i think you should say:
"How about we meet up at the week end or something?" and then if yhoo want to add this (optional) : "Ooh no i cant, im buisy! But yhoo know, i would LOVE to do something some other time, any ideas?" or smething along those lines...
I know loads of people are saying to ask him out, but you probably agree that if you do that its never qite right because if he asked you its more like hes in charge and he is the one chasing yhoo, which is always preferable. =] hope this helps!

I answered a similar question last week and the girl loved my answer. Just sidle up to him and say, "So, are you ever going to ask me out, or what?" Like I said earlier, he won't react badly, or harshly, so you have nothing to lose. He'll probably just stand there and stutter. Doing it this way makes you seem cool and in control, and puts the ball in his court.

When you joke around say something like, " The funny thing is if you asked me out I would say yes! (Laugh)
Mabey he might replie back something like, " Well would you like to go out with me???"
Try it out, it may just work.

let his friend know you will say yes...ASK him out yourself........Set up a double date to make him more comfortable??? Play naked twister??? Anything he would like to do that he doesnt think is just you and him and he might screw it up!!!
