What the f*ck was going through his head?

This happened in my community over a year ago and the person in question was found guilty last week.

He still denies the charges, even though forensic evidence proves his guilt.

What is the maximum sentence he will receive for a crime such as this in England?
(he is going to be sentenced next month)

Can an evil person such as him, ever be rehabilitated?
Should he be allowed back into society?

Thank you

A life sentence is fair.

As for what goes on in one's head, that is difficult to answer. Some of these criminals are psychologically unbalanced. If there is something wrong at the biological level, then measures can be taken to help correct this "behavior".
No normal/healthy person would actually commit rape, but make no mistake about it: individuals who commit these types of heinous crime deserve to be isolated from society for their own good. They should be allowed back into society after they finish their sentences and then closely monitored for the rest of their lives.

The problem is that these things can be prevented. One does not automatically decide on the spur of the moment to commit rape. There may be various indications during youth and early adulthood that something is clearly not right, but it is up to family members, friends, etc., to do something about it. Early intervention can be very effective in crime prevention. This type of common sense thing should be taught to children early on, so that they don't grow up to be adults just immersed in their own little worlds and walking around with one eye lazy and the other eye shut.

(1) pure undiluted evil.
(2) absolute crap.
(3) sadly this happens in all communities.
(4) self denial with these animals is normal.
(5) probably (life) i should be life, let us know.
(6) definitely not, there is no cure for this excuse for a human.
(7) the answer to this is never "BUT", as you are aware or should be, our towns and cities are awash with paedophiles being thrown amongst us without our permission or knowledge, sad isn't it that the so called do-gooders who say they have done their job and you can let them out, don't have to pay a price for their years of fumbling mess that they call psychology, these people like the people they deal with(inmates) are a huge sad joke, at our expense

A full blown case of the crazies.

Don't worry, a PR 24 followed by a long long prison sentence can cure that.

What I think should happen to criminals like this is put them in a dark, small, smelly room with no windows or anything. No human contact whatsoever, let them wallow in their own filth, give them a piece of bread and some water a day and thats it. None of this crap we have now where its like putting them in a hotel or something.

I don't believe in the death penalty, besides, which would you think is more deserving for a criminal like that? Even murderers.

In England he'll be out within a couple of months and will then be under the watchful eye of someone from the probation service. Hang these sicko's.

No doubt he will get a warning, pay a fine spend a couple of months in jail , get his name on the offenders list and that will be that, but God help you should you smack a hoodie, you might get life. Time they bring back hanging, i say guys like that should be forced to castrate themselves or swing by their necks.
