I've had all these old birthday and holiday cards over the past 25 years, but feel bad about just throwing them away so I thought it wouldn't be so bad if I donate them to someone or place who could put good use to them. The issue is, I dont know who to donate them to. I've checked around online and found pretty much nothing. So if anyone can help me, I'd appreciate greatly!!

You can send them to me. So far I have 10 people sending them to me. I send them to a Children's Hospice in England, and will take all that you have if you like, email me for my address:

I don't know If you mean blank cards or cards that you have received from people with writing on them. If they are cards you have received I would just trash em. I don't think the people that sent you the cards would like them floating around all over the place. Can you imagine if you gave them to a local thrift store, and someone that sent you a card saw it there? How embarrassing!

Contact community groups like boys and girls club, senior centers, boy and girl scouts, etc. They can always use them to make art projects - you might even just stop by a daycare or Kindergarten since they make easy collage and trivet images. I would recommend you just donate the fronts and put the signed page in the paper recycling bin. Good Luck!

If they are old but not "used" (written on) then you can take them to any Thrift store. If they are cards that you received then you can either take them to a elementary school or nursery school and ask if they would like to use them for art. I worked in Special Ed and the teacher there often receives magazines and old cards and she uses them to have the kids do various art projects. Hope this helped.

You can't donate them, but instead of throwing them away you should recycle them. It'd be just as good as donating them, but instead of helping a few people, you're helping to save the environment.

Find somebody that does a lot of scrapbook's.
They could probably put them to use.
Cutting parts and pieces from them to decorate the pages of their scrapbooks and photos.

Or you could do this yourself....

Here are some examples:

Don't know what anyone could do with them if they are already written on.

Maybe a preschool could cut out the pictures for art projects?

Please recycle. ;-P you did the right thing not littering or trashign them. Go to www.freecycle.org and you can give them away to someone local who needs them.
Make an artistic collage or something.
