I don't know.
I'll ask the constipated mathematician if he can work it out with a pencil.

(my tree is a hand-painted pottery one. It and the Santa special train running past it will be re-appearing in future years,)

Our trees come from sustainable sources ie they are 'farmed' trees, not from forests - and then after Christmas they get recycled.

We take them to the local waste collection site where they get turned into woodchips to put on footpaths through National Trust land - this in turn prevents erosion damage to tree roots in established woodland as well as other vulnerable habitats.

Hubby bought me to pretty little live spruce trees. Currently, they are neatly planted in my front garden. No dead trees from this house.

So that is where my memory has disappeared to..picked by depressed zombies!

Cheers all

I think it should be sin to kill a young beautiful tree, put it in your house for a month and then kick it to the curb.

Very sad!
