Religion is completely the reason why all wars have taken place. If religion did not exist than not one war would have taken place. Not one person would be poor or ignorant. Poverty and crime would be unheard of. We would have no need for jails, hospitals, banks, attorneys, law makers or government. The Salvation Army and the bible would be a joke. Mr. Bush is just carrying on a legacy tradition of failure that we have chosen to be our path to success since our beginning here in the United States. He is doing what he thinks is right for our country. Whoever was president during the time of the 911 attacks would be getting the same blame that Mr. Bush is getting now. Mr. Bush might not be a smart man but it really doesn't take much brains to become a president. In fact can you name one out of any of the past presidents who had a good thinking brain?

the yank Christians usually get their information components from "undemanding" Christian Radio. which contain kin information in concentration, Pat Robertson and his community (CBN), besides as TBN, and different Christian media. The media is so biased, it quite is ridiculous! An occasion: one time CNN-Headline information confirmed a information clip of a luncheon speech that President GW Bush gave. the 1st area grow to be very favorable, however the final area of his speech advised the the remainder of the tale and grow to be no longer very favorable. in a protracted time that day, i grow to be listening to kin information in concentration on a Christian radio station. The station abbreviated basically area of the speech. wager which area grow to be broadcast? You guessed it. basically the reliable aspects. regrettably, too many Christians have faith you may desire to take heed to this biased media, which will basically share favorable comments on President Bush. So, no ask your self they're fooled into believing the tale approximately President Bush and his astounding Christianity. specific i'm judging, yet I truthfully have a difficulty with the conflicts of interest of an chief of a u . s . a . who made his fortune in oil and then leads us into conflict in a community difficulty-unfastened for producing oil and claims it quite is terrorism. So, specific there are some gullible Christians who i'm constructive have faith that God is in this conflict (because of the fact it helps Israel's place).

okay i'm gonna tell you this GW Bush is a christian now for your second part about pursuing war there are classifications that the magisterium puts out that will qualify a just war we know that as long as Christ has not come a second time that there will be war such is the nature of humans now we the christians try to only fight just wars as I said before the magisterium, the teaching part of the church has 5 classifications that help to determine if the war we are fighting is a just war i do not know what the clssifications are but I do know that according to the classifications that the wars in Iraq that we are fighting is a just war in the eyes of the church

If you see what he is trying to do he is trying to protect us all from more atttacks, and he is trying to make it so it is safe and we dont have to live in fear of people killing us. He is doing the right thing to protect his people and get rid of the bad people in this world so that we can live with out fear. If you are a Christian then you must be able to see that he is just trying to keep peace over there which he has done but if there was more support from other goverments and even just US citizens then he would be able to a lot more effective in what he is trying to do. He has done some really great things over there for the native people even though we never hear about them, all we hear is bad things that most of the time are not even true.

THe term President and Christian in the same sentence is somewhat of an oxymoron... What did Jesus say to Pilate regarding whether-or-not he was a king? He told Pilate that' His Kingdom was NO part of this world..'. He also said that His followers would be no part of this world........ So wouldn't it be reasonable to discern that if Jesus' Kingdom was no part of this world (His Heavenly Kingdom) that a person who takes on the role of an earthly "King", or in Bush's case President, would be against Christianity being that Jesus said His followers were no part of this world either? Seems pretty reasonable to me!!

I would say he is a Christian from everything I seen him say and do.

Pursuing war is sometimes a necessary evil. Just wars are indeed necessary. Hitler had to be stopped, and the only way to do this is to go to war. We have been at war as long as we have been a nation. Look at our history and you will see it is rife with conflict. Sometimes just, sometimes unjust.

GW is the poster child for why religion and politics should never get mingled.
he claims to not only be a born again, but that god selected him to run for president. he has been reliably quoted as saying god instructed him to attack afghanistan and iraq.
i don't think there is much overlap between president of the us and jesus christ.

No. He merely uses the most popular religion in America to advocate the agenda of right-wing extremism. He is about reducing wealth into as few hands as possible which has nothing to do with Christ's teaching.

He says he is. But clearly he is not following what Jesus had to say. From what I understand the born agains think they have some special knowledge of the Bible that is not what is written there. Which is why they can be racists and murdering war mongers and it is okay. Because they feel that if they commit crimes and gross bloodshed, but do it in a way that brings Armageddon closer, then it is okay. Of course Jesus never said that his followers should do that, but their TV pastors, Robertson and that crew, apparently have been given special instructions that say it is okay to commit violence if it is in the name of God.
