The list is a bit longer than that, but in addition a lot of the Evangelicals count alcohol as evil.
If you like a pint, why not go catholic? They are rather more forgiving, or perhaps choose CoE when almost anything goes, but you would have to be able to accept abortion, divorce, and women in the priesthood as a matter of course. There are very few "thou shalt nots" in the good old CoE. So few, in fact, that even they aren't sure what they are.

First to be a Christian, you don't need to be perfect. If one waits until they are sinless, they won't make it. So the Bible does talk against various sin. You have listed some. Murder, and covetness (desiring something for yourself that belongs to someone else) are a couple more. I suggest first become a Christian, and God will reveal to you how to live. This may not seem like much of an answer, so please e mail me if you want to know more.

Ok..to save a lot of space I will Cut-n-paste the Links to answer your questions.
masturbation : http://www.carm.org/questions/masterbation.htm
Alcohol ? Yes. Becuse of this verse : 1Ti 5:23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.
However ?? Please read this Verse :
Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Consider this about Drinking now.
What witness will you be to others when they see you drinking ? I mean What example would you be setting. ?
And...If By drinking...would it cause you to stumble ? in Your faith ?
In my opinion, it is not wise to drink at all, Now 1 Tim 5:23 Does say to drink a 'little wine' however wine is after all grape juice, Back in Biblical Times, Grape Juice Ferments and becomes Alcholic very rapidly in the hot arid Climate, But New Wine is ok, so I ask you..Is not Grape Juice accomplishing the same thing without the alcoholic content?
I say yes, Better not use Fermented Wine (Alcoholic)

Matthew 27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
Matthew 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Matthew 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
When God says don't what He really means is don't hurt yourself--the flip-side of that is: Choose to sin choose to suffer. We really have to know that we have a loving God and He is not sitting up in heaven saying, "boy I really ripped them off there. The Bible teaches us that God first loved us before we ever loved Him. God doesn't want us to live with incurable STDs or get our hearts broken, etc. God wants us to have a healthy heart and have prosperous lives.
If you listen to most Christians, you don't have much of a chance hearing the truth, sad to say it.
Acts: 17:11, " . . . that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so."
Because the Word of God is the only absolute we have, all teaching must be checked against this absolute standard.
If you want to understand anything about Christianity, you need read the Bible, it's as simple as that. Bypass the Catholic Church, and ignore any doctrines you hear along the way until you go to the Source itself and read it for yourself. Don't be indoctrinated, in any direction. Read it, and then you will know what it says. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke or John is a good place to start.
Salvation is free to you and me, but it came at an extremely high price to Jesus Christ.
Please don't wait another second.
God bless you.

Read you Bible, it tells you everything you need to know. But what you should be focused on are the things you CAN do. You can have a glass of wine with your dinner, if you can do it without getting drunk, masturbation? just don't hurt yourself. You cant cheat on your wife or S.O. And be sure you don't put anything as more important that God. Stay in his word everyday if possible and you will do fine.

Actually, Christianity encourages drinking, especially in Catholicism. It is an actual sacrament for them.
As for things you can't do, you may not curse your parents, blaspheme, be gay, or have relations with animals (banning that is like those stupid warning on the sides of chainsaws "Do not use while sleeping, "Do not use indoors," "Do not use if you are illiterate," etc.). None of these things are encouraged regardless of your religious beliefs.

If "Christian" is your standard, you are aiming much too low. Salvation is like a marriage contract with YHVH. Take His name and follow His rules. Thus you become part of His "bride" and will receive life in the end. Accept all of Scripture. There are many rules, and since the Almighty doesn't change, most of them are still applicable. ("Christians" to the contrary notwithstanding) Drinking is medicinal, and not to be used recreationally. (Proverbs) Masturbation is self centered, and thus tends toward Narcissism. YHVH gave us sex to be enjoyed within marriage. If you take it apart, you break it. receive the fabulous gift that YHVH wants to give you. Don't destroy it.

You know what, if you are thinking about becoming a born again Christian, that's wonderful, but don't think of it as having restrictions.
Being a Christian means you accepted/asked Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior. If you do this, and you really mean it, then the Lord will help you through the rest.

on the 10 commandments it doesn't not said murder, it said KILL, what apply for any entity, so a real Christian can't eat meat.
everything that is not good for your body/mind surely is not convenient for spiritual life.

I think you missed the point.
Being a christian is not what you can not do it is more what you should do.
“I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”—John 13:34
