Yes, many Christians do believe that the Bible is the Word of God, true and unsullied. I used to believe that till I started reading it. The Old Testament teaches us some rather outdated lessons (such as that slavery is acceptable...), however it is the New Testament that is far more important. We are taught that love and forgiveness are the pinnacles of Christianity, and that it is our duty to serve God by doing good and treating our neighbours as we would be treated.

Wow... you have been chatting with (or are) a Jehovah's Witness, confident?! :-) enable me to ask you some questions... a million. If the call "Jehovah" is so considerable, why isn't it used interior the any of the Greeks manuscripts we've for the hot testomony? in case you're saying that scribes got rid of it (a controversy from silence), does that advise that the Watchtower is greater stable than the NT? 2. The Watchtower's in homestead New worldwide Translation interprets John a million:a million as "...the word grew to become into WITH God and the word grew to become right into a god". yet in Deut 32:39 Jehovah says that there are no longer any gods with Him. How can this be? 3. John a million:3 says that "all issues" got here into existence by Christ. If Jesus is a created being, through fact the Watchtower teaches, did Jesus create himself? (evaluate Isaiah 40 4:24) 4. If as you have confidence, the ineffective are subconscious, why are they pronounced to have the potential to be happy? (Rev 14:13) How can they cry out with a noisy voice? (Rev 6:9-11) 5. on your New worldwide Translation, each and every time the Greek word "proskuneo" is used in connection with God, it extremely is correct translated as "worship" (Rev 5:14, 7:11, 11:sixteen, 19:4, Jn 4:20, etc.). yet each and every time the comparable word is used in connection with Jesus, it extremely is translated as "obeisance" (Mt 14:33, 28:9, 28:17, Lk 24:fifty two, Heb a million:6, etc.) (your Kingdom Interlinear Translation). fairly evaluate the Greek derivitive word "prosekunhsan" as used with regard to God in Rev 5:14, 7:11, 11:sixteen, and 19:4 and to Christ in Mt 14:33, 28:9, and 28:17. what's the rationalization for this inconsistency? If the Watchtower grew to become into consistent in translating "proskuneo" as "worship", how could those verses touching on Jesus study? ;-)

The Bible is the Word of God and has been verified though out the ages because of the promises of God being fulfilled. I use this argument because God said He would tell in advance so you could believe when it happens. Jesus was the fulfillment of the promises of a Messiah. Isreal becoming a nation in 1948 was also a promise. The Bible is by multiple prophets and indicates a non-changing God. The quaran was written by a nut in a cave based on the supposed appearance of an unidentified spirit. Which are you going to believe.

'The Bible', is a collective.
The Christian Bible is a collection on accepted writtings.
There are Histories, Diaries, Songs, Wisdoms, Journies, Predictions, Testaments, Letters.
The Basic teaching in the Bible is Love
Love God and his creation; Love youir neighbour as yourself.
That fellow Jesus asked us to Love oneanother as He Loved Us and to teach others to Love.
Tough Stuff.
Lots fail most of the time, but you can keep trying.

No straight answer. Some Christians do and some dont.It is the belief in the Holy Trinity that unites all christians.
Fundamentalists believe that the stories of the bible should be taken literally and others symbolic. There are christians that dismiss the bible out of hand as the accounts of those without understanding or divine right to pen the scriptures.
To answer your question, yes most christians believe that both testaments are sanctioned by god.
The message of the qu'ran is that its words should be taken literally and there is no license for interpretation.

There are two things about Christianity-the doctrine and the teachings; teachings are fine, but the doctrine is controversial and questionable.
For teachings, you just need to read the bible.
To get an idea about the doctrine, here it is:
Chritianiy is based on the trinity doctrine and that jesus is God.There is no such thing in Islam and Judaism.
People who believe jesus was god are raised, thaught and encouraged Not to raise questions about this belief;they just swallow it passively.
but it is their right to swallow it passively.
this link below will delve deep in unveiling jesus nature

You mean to say that you really believe that the Koran is the "Word of God"???
If Muslims believe that, then they'll believe anything!
Hold on a sec, they are a very credulous lot.
Anyway, I thought that the Bible was made up of "Testaments", or eye witness accounts, isn't it?
Peace.

a2 Timothy 3:16 (New International Version)
3:16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
Yes, I believe all scripture is breathed by God to the authors who wrote it. & here is the Assemblies of God website & what we believe

oh, & by the way I do not believe the koran is the written word of God but by a man that was influenced, if not outright possessed, by demons. read the account of how muhammad wrote it & you will see.
