The conception of logic as the study of argument is historically fundamental, and was how the founders of distinct traditions of logic, namely Plato and Aristotle conceived of logic. While logic often seems to provide its own motivations, the subject develops most healthily when the reason for our interest is made clear. The motivation for the study of logic is clear : it is so that we may learn to distinguish good from bad arguments, and so become more effective in argument, and become a better person. Dig this:
According to the minimalist view then, truth is indeed a property of propositions (or sentences, as the case may be) but it is so minimal and anomalous a property that it cannot be said to provide us with any useful information about or insight into the nature of truth. When I make a statement like:O why should the spirit of mortal be proud!
Like a fast flitting meteor, a fast flying cloud,
A flash of the lightning, a break of the wave --
He passes from life to his rest in the grave.
What is the first thing that comes to mind? There exists a way that is upright before a man, but the ways of death are the end of it afterward. Logically speaking, the study of logic is a good way to hold down a fairly good argument with just about anyone you come across. After all the devil is at work and he uses every means nessesary to block the mind.

Logic is fine, though I think that there are some things that can't be explained with it. And that believe is logical.
If everything could be explained by logic, there would be no great mysteries. We'd know what happened to Amelia Earhart, and what really goes on in Area 51.
I just proved, using logic, that logic can't explain everything.
Logic is fine when used to proper effect, and I find that is quite often, but there are times when it just gets in the way.

I think you most likely do know what Logic is. What is the origin of the word logic? How about "Mathologic". I know the answer. Do you? I am a Christian.

Answer: Logic? I'm for it!
Commentary: It is unfortunate that you will probably get posts from "Christians" who believe logic and Christianity do not work together. You may also get posts from those who believe all Christians are beyond logic and reasoning. For me, logic is a tool that builds my faith in our Creator.

Logic (from Classical Greek λόγος logos; meaning word, thought, idea, argument, account, reason, or principle) is the study of the principles and criteria of valid inference and demonstration.
Ok, that would be a reasonalbe definition for this Christian. Where are you going with this?

I think that without "Logic" people, tend to, throw "Creationism" and "Evolutionism" into separate "speculative" absolutes. Out of ignorance this unfortunately tends to be the "logical" thing to do. With me, in peace, they are united, and the undisputed facts together speak for themselves logically. In other words "logic" is only effective when based on knowledge. It is in the "assuming" from the lack of certain knowledge that we are divided.

John chapter one of the New Testament says, "in the beginning was the WORD. The WORD was with God and the WORD was God. ... The WORD became flesh and made His dwelling among us" (verses 1, 14).
This word, WORD, is the translation of the Greek "logos." It is the same word we use for the word "logic." God is a logical God. Logic flows from His mind, and Jesus, who was the WORD or LOGIC become flesh, had a logical plan of salvation. To follow Jesus Christ is both logical and reasonable, especially since it is the truth, but also because it is evidentiary and historic (not to mention life-transforming).
God is, therefore I believe.

i could probable never circulate so a approaches as to assert all of something sucks. For me, the venture happens whilst the subject remember takes priority over the music, and that i've got discovered many Christian bands tend to try this. now and lower back, it is like they simply needed a thank you to place across their message, particularly than with many pagan bands, it seems they simply mandatory a topic for his or her music (by employing no means consistently). of path, i've got not listened to all of them, and does no longer shun a band in simple terms through fact they're brazenly Christian. I did like those you related, fairly the 2nd. MQ2: Orphaned Land includes Christian subject concerns, yet they do no longer look to be "Christian steel"... so no longer likely BQ: i could like a music extra if i come across the subject remember exciting (something historic), yet i'm superb with something as long as there is not any supremacism.

Christians like the book of Proverbs. Proverbs teaches Christains that the widom of man is foolishness to god and since they associate themsevles with god they assume that the wisdom of men is also foolishness to them. Essentially, it's instruction for people to ignore thought. Christians that are well-read usually use this whenever they encounter something of logic that they can not otherwise overcome. Other times they will freely debate.

Logic can be defined as commonsense which is not common at all , for example very less percentage of human beings worship the true Creator (true God) where as the created one r being worshiped in much higher percentage like the SUN< MOON< WATER< TREE HUMANS like JESUS
The Quran lays bare the true position of Jesus in a single verse , followed by a note by Yusuf Ali's commentory on the verse 3:59
1. "That he was the son of a women, Mary and therefore a man"
2. "But a messenger, a man with a mission from Allah(God), and therefore entitled to honour"
3."A Word bestowed on Mary, for he was created by Allah's word 'Be' and he was " 3:59 Quran
A sprit proceeding from Allah (God) , but his life and mission were limited than in the case of some other messengers, though we must pay equal honour to him as a prophet of Allah. The doctrinr of trinity , equality with God ,and sons ,are repudiated as blasphemies,Allah (God) is independant of all needs and has no sons to manage His affairs. The Gospel of John (whoever wrote it ) has put a great deal of Alexandrian Gnoistic mysticism round the doctrine of the word (Greek, Logos), but it is simply explained here.
