I am fairly short, around 5' 4" but I sure would like to be taller. I also don't have a perfect smile (wish I had braces as a kid), will my teeth be straighter? I don't smoke, but if I wanted to start could I in the afterlife? Will I get to keep my tattoos?

yes you would be taller but so would everyone else so you would still be short compared to all the other people in heaven and your teeth will be the same and there is no smoking in the afterlife.

We will be made perfect...and I'm waiting on an answer about the smoking section up in Heaven....there are a bunch of folks that will want to hang out.

you will be in heaven: aka: no people judging you, but God revealing you to be the beautiful and holy creature he created you to be. As you were naturally born, so shall you be again.
It's like God holds up a mirror to you and all you will see is acceptance for yourself and his Glory shining through you as it should have over the short years you were here.

I hope so, because then I could be thinner!

Seriously, your question is more serious than it appears at first. If any biblical scholars are reading this, perhaps you'd like to chime in on that. I personally don't think we bring our physicality with us, or even our personality for that matter.

I suppose whatever you believe will be your eternal state. I don't think anyone can give you a solid answer there, unless "God" is on Yahoo Answers.

yo out there
a little less focus on how we perceive ourselves
i think when you get to heaven all those petty types of things will be irrelevant.
what is relevant is how you get to heaven.

Religious beliefs are in the eye of the beholder, so the question is, more accurately, what do YOU think?

You'll never know until you get there. Unless there's anyone here who's been and come back.

You'd be able to physically manifest yourself into whatever you believe.
