I will be starting my new exercise plan!! WOO HOO!!
I will be doing lungs, sqwats (sp?) for my legs - Light weights for my arms. If I'm doing 3 sets of 10 for each, 3 days a week - How long do you think it will take to see any kind of change?

About two or three months if you do with right weights.

I started to go to gym about 4 months ago, and after three months I started to notice that Wow my arms hardly fit through my sleeves after I had worked out. Although I'm a male so it might be different for you.

Good for you on starting a healthy exercise plan!

Don't expect to see any results (weight loss - - or gain, if that's what you're trying to do - - or increase in muscle mass) for at least three weeks at the very low rate you mentioned, which, BTW, is perfectly fine for the average person who is just starting out (3 sets of 10 for 3 days is only 90 reps a week; that's not a heck of a lot; you should be able to double that, easily, but I won't blame you for taking it easy, at first; just be aware that doing so few to begin with may become boring, as well as taking a while to show any results).

P.S. I hope you meant "lunges", not "lungs", unless you intend to do some very strange exercises.

P.P.S. The word is "squats".

I'm a guy, and I've been doing sets like that (cept mainly for upper body) for about 4 months now. Yea, theres a big difference. I have abs, big(ish) chest, arms fill up a medium shirt now.

It won't take long if you just eat right and stick with it.

True results take a lot of effort and time. It's about patience. Keep doing what you're doing and you should see results in a few months. Once you keep up with your regime then you'll benefit in the long run.

4-6 weeks. this is about how long it takes for muscle to adapt to your exercise routine thus how long it will take to see definite results. at this point your going to want to up your weight load or reps or sets so that you can continue to see results.
