do you believe that this type of love only happens once in our lives and as much as we live, no matter the time, the age we are, nothing, will prevent us from thinking about this person from time to time? Please, do answer me with honesty.

In my experience, "true love" doesn't sweep you away. It plants you firmly on Earth and connects you completely with reality and the person you love. And yes, once you experience it, it will never completely leave you.
Anyone can sweep you away--it takes a special and wonderful person to hold your heart forever.

I believe everyone we meet is for a reason. That reason might not be true love it could just be someone who is there to help or who needs your help. Who knows what true love really is and whether it only happens once. We create our own lives so it should be that we can create more of these situations where we give and feel love. I agree if you do love someone it would be pretty hard to get them out of your head.

I waited until I was 40 to marry....and he is my true love, compliment to my life and the one that God designed for me. I had kissed my frogs and nothing every matched up with my life. When you place God in the for-front of seeking a person for your life, then you step back and God takes over. I stand amazed at what has happened. He is my true love, soul mate and best friend.

I never experienced that "true love" so right now I would have to say I don't believe in it. For those who have....only time will tell if it is real or not ; )
