In countries like India, Muslims are not the majority because there are many more non-Muslims and non-Christians out there.
Perhaps, in Arab or European countries that lie to the west of Iran or Turkey, with their declining populations, it's possible for Muslims to grow in number.
But as with all religions, other new faiths - beyond Islam or whatever else - may dominate the world in 50 years' time. Or it could be that atheism will be the norm?
Who knows what the future brings - and then again, there are so many surprises waiting to happen!

Hey! All you Muslim haters! I'm a Muslim, I'm a very clean person, I live in England which is hardly an underdeveloped country and I'm sick of your predjudices!
Now to the question. Christianity is the largest religion in the world. Fact. Islam is the second. Christianity will not be a minority. The two religions will just swich positions occasionally. Who knows? The future is very unpredictable. Hinduism might become the largest religion in the world for all you know.

The Islam is growing myth is based on total ingnorance of real statistics.
In fact, almost all growth in Islamic numbers is down to high birth rates in underdeveloped Muslim countries.
Even with this, the most accurate forecasts of religious trends show clearly that far from diminishing, Chrisitianity is expected to rise in its proportion of followers world wide by around 1% over the next 50 years, and will certainly remain tha majority religion on Earth (contrary to what some like to believe here about belonging to an oppressed minority).

I doubt it. They may both be growing, but only as a result in brainwashing their young. As the human population increases in regions where those religions are dominant, we may find a growth in the numbers of these religions. However, I would venture to say that conversions are on the decline, looking at percentages of people rather than actual numbers, especially in civilized and well educated areas. Given that, I would say religion is being phased out. It is a lengthy and complicated process for such a transition on a global scale. This, however, is what the first stages of the process look like.

Oh, really? There is plenty of evidence that more people are leaving Islam than are entering it.
In any case, it really isn't about the numbers, is it? The real question is why would anyone voluntarily follow a religion that was founded by a documented pedophile?

Yes in fact. Almighty Allah says in the Quran chapter 61 verses 7 and 8
"They intend to put out the light of Allah (i.e. the religion of Islam, the Quran, and the prophet Muhammed) with their mouths. But Allah will complete his Light even though the disbelievers hate it. He it is who has sent his Messenger (Muhammed SAW) with guidance and the religion of truth to make it victorious over all (other) religions even though the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the oneness of Allah and in his Messenger Muhammed SAW) hate it."
Today, Islam is the fastest growing religion despite the media trying to tarnish the image of Islam in order to keep the people away from it. Nature of Islam is something like the more it is depressed the more it wins the converts!! Glory be to Allah!!

Hopefully in 50 years people will come to their senses and realize that all of these religions are basically the same and none of them are correct. Within 50 years science should be able to soundly disprove the existence of god.

Unless they start mass killing people again then yes. Let's hope the church doesn't get riled. Islam is growing in the same way Christianity grew during the dark ages, violence and persecution, though on a lesser scale due to global politics.

No need to panic Christians!.
Muslims are less than 10 millions in USA out of 300 Million population. Which means Muslims are only 3%.
I guarantee you when ever Muslims will become even half of the US population there will be peace in world. Muslim politicians will never allow bombing and occupying other countries.
Spanish immigrants will outgrow White Americans lot sooner.
In 50 years White Americans will have no land left to run away from Latinos.

i will work out that. That proves the bible to be actual: Matthew 7:14 through fact strait is the gate, and slender is the way, which leadeth unto existence, and few there be that locate it. actual Christianity isn't universal in any respect.
