I want to take a warm dip to a party - any good recipes? Maybe something that goes with beer bread? Or a cheesy dip?

Forgot to mention - I'm vegetarian and I hate artichoke dips.

Here is a nice cheese one.

Jar or Can of your favorite cheese sauce.
Ground beef or chorizo
Jar or can of jalapeno peppers

Cook beef/chorizo drain excess juice.
Put cheese sauce in a pot/pan and bring up to a low simmer
Dice up or chop up peppers
add peppers and drained meat to cheese stir well. You can put it in a bread boat or just in a serving dish that will hold the temp

Spinach & Artichoke dip is very tasty, easy to prepare and uncommon enough to add a little flair. It can be served warm in a bowl with torn pieces of french bread around it.

For a little more piz-zazz you can try cutting the top center from a round loaf, making a bowl. Tear the removed piece into serving size pieces and use the "bowl" to serve the dip in.

I haven't tried the recipe that I provided the link to. I usually just go to SAMS CLUB and buy a large, premade container of it. I serve it in an oven-safe dish after heating it at 350 degrees until it's warm (about 5-7 minutes).

Bon appetit and Happy New Year!

You could make a Spinach Cheesy Dip and serve warm.
Here is the recipe.

WARM SPINACH DIP

16 ounce bag frozen spinach
1 jar of roasted garlic
Alfredo sauce
canned mushrooms (small or large depending on taste)
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 bag of tortilla chips

Cook and drain spinach; place back into pot adding mushrooms, sauce, and cheese. Dip should be creamy.
Heat to a simmer, then serve with tortillas.

Hot spinach dip

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ( I like to use pepper jack as a substitute)
mix all of this well and put into a buttered oven safe dish
bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 min or untill bubbly sprinke more grated cheese on top and let melt
serve hot
(ive also added chopped canned artichokes to this )

For X-mas eve, I just made a hot artichoke dip that people freaked out about. I got the recipe off the hellmans.com web site. It was SO easy and unbelievably good. I recommend it highly!!!!!

A pesto and parmisan or other artisanal cheese dip is good. You could try asiago cheese - that would be tasty. Use a mixture of pesto and fresh basil leaves, and combine with cream cheese, sour cream, and the grated or shredded cheese. Bake in a casserole until bubbly.

I have a good one it is my favorite . You need a dish that can go in the oven though. First you put down some sour cream on top. Next you put a little guacamole.Finlay you put cheese on top. Bake in oven for 5-15 minutes it depends on the oven. It is done when the cheese is all the way melted and warm. The ingredients should be in layers so don't mix them. I hope you like it!! Spinach and artichoke dip is always pretty good. BLT dip isn't warm but it's delicious.

Go to the store and get a two pound bag of shredded Monterrey Jack cheese, a 12 ounce bottle of green taco sauce and a couple cans of diced green chiles. Mix everything together in a bowl and microwave it, stir it every couple of minutes. Serve with chips.

go to foodnetwork.com, type "cheesy crab dip" in search box, use Paula Dean's recipe, sit back and enjoy. Make sure you use fresh lump crabmeat, none of that canned s#it!
