Please don't tell me when there's a demand for it. That was a lame answer you gave me the last time the question was asked. I've read about it and its claims to to be less expensive, with a better picture than LCD or Plasma. It was due out in 2008 according to this article.

Laser TV is a proposed new video display technology using laser optoelectronics. A decision of the commercial availability of laser televisions may be made early in 2008.[1]

SYCO of China released a 120-inch Laser TV, the biggest in the world so far, and it will be used in cinema in late 2007.

Some have questioned the credibility of Laser TV development efforts. Apparently, some information regarding Laser TV developments can be traced to the pre-IPO publicity campaign of Arasor and its partner, Novalux.
A number of major consumer TV manufacturers have indicated that they have no plans to incorporate Laser TV technology into their product ranges.

A reversal by Mitsubishi saying that they in fact do plan a Laser TV offering.

To the contrary however, companies such as Novalux have shown what appear to be viable demonstrations at industry conferences such as SID and CES.

Smarthouse, an Australian lifestyle/technology guide has now reported that LASER TV is a 'dud' and that Arasor got their facts wrong about LASER TV.
