im 14 years old and i've had sex once.
it was the biggest mistake of my life and i know how stupid and immature i was to do it. There is no way for me to become a 'virgin' again i know.
But as i am catholic i'd like to think to myself that i am a virgin. I'm not going to have sex until im married and to be honest i couldn't care less what boys say if they find out. I was wondering... i've asked for forgiveness and went to confession about having sex underage and not being married but do you think i can count myself as a 'virgin' again and wait until marrige to have sex?

No, you'd only be deceiving yourself. Once you've lost your virginity that's it. There is no way to restore it.

I have not chosen that. I would have more respect for your decision if it spawned from a secular perspective. Think of all the good, lecherous experiences you will have probably missed out on. Of course, you may have chosen to enjoy your sexuality these past years, while maintaining your virginity, if you know what I mean. I don't get many chicks AT ALL and it sucks a lot! On the other hand, by staying abstinent one doesn't have to worry about pregnancy or STD. Plus, maybe you are more into the personality of people, rather than how they look. I have not chosen to abstain, but I have terrible social skills, low confidence, and generalized apathy. Praise Jesus for Internet porn!

Not sure if you can think of your self as a virgin because your not, but sweetie if waiting until you get married to have sex again is a goal then by all means go for it... I have a 15 year old daughter and if she was in your place I would tell her that sex is not something to be taken lightly.

You can become a born again virgin by trying to respect and honor the sanctity of sex and how it connects to love. If you value your love you will wait fro marriage with teh right man and u can become a born again virgin. Dont listen to these non virgins. I am a virgin male whos never had sex and i tell you that u can reclaim a part of your virginity again. Its all in your future actions and how you look at it from your heart.

you are right there is no way to become a virgin againg but I know that some people sometimes decide to wait to have sex again when they get married so just because you dont know of a way to become a virgin doesnt mean you can't stop and wait almost as if you never had.

You can wait until marriage of course, but from what I believe you can't really call yourself a virgin. I mean you can if you want but it just seems like lieing. You need to own up to it. You had sex once, didn't like it, and you're not going to do it again. Don't fret.

You can't turn the clock back, so you are not a virgin. But you have learned a value able lesson, and you will find your life partner and when you do he will be thank full you have been honest. So make sure you stick with what you have said, good luck and be strong.

you are more mature than your years, you have to put it behind you, if you want to confess then go and pay your penance and at least your conscience will be clear with you and with God. Dont worry about one silly mistake you have your whole life in front of you, if you dont want to have sex until your married thats your choice no one elses and if a young man cant understand that and wait until your married as is your wish then he isnt the right one for you. Of course you can consider yourself a virgin again. You only did it once and you've repented. I've also heard that if a woman goes over a year without sex her vagina can tighten to become as tight as a virgins again. You won't have a hymen, but a lot of girls break that on accident before having sex anyway.

There is always redemption, but it cannot be found in priests. Only Jesus Christ can forgive sins, and going to confession will never make you feel cleansed. Of course you can wait to have sex until marriage, but you would be lying to your future husband if you called yourself a virgin.

I understand why you want to call yourself a virgin.... its because you havent forgiven yourself for losing your virginity. Sometimes you have to make mistakes to learn. It doesnt matter what others think... all that matters is what you think of yourself.
