The Phelps give it all they've got, and really shine the light on where following scripture with faith can lead.

Oh, without a doubt, people like Huckabee and Fred Phelps; the type who look down with such vile hatred and contempt from high upon their self-righteous high-horses at those of us with lifestyles that are simply different from their own: in other words, the entire LGBT community. That is to say, those of us who lead "perverted", "sexually deviant", "abominable", "condemned", "sinful" lives; those of us who "don't really count"; those of us who are nothing more than second-class citizens who don't deserve any rights whatsoever.
Those two, and everyone else like them, most definitely put the "FUN" in "fundie" -- and the "Christ" in "Christian". (I'm sure everyone here is familiar with that particular request by Jesus of his followers: "Love thy neighbor as thyself -- unless they're gay.") Yeah, Huckabee and Phelps and the rest of 'em are just a regular frickin' barrel of laughs.

I don't see any fundies being all that fun. Which, I suppose, is why you didn't ask who takes the "undies" off of "fundies."

Why ? Do you think for some reason that Christians or Christianity is boring for some reason ?
Then you haven't experienced it. No one who is a Christian will ever say that it is boring.
How do you know? Have you tried it? There are millions of Christians who have a lot of fun being Christian. We just do it with a lot less sin, and therefore, a lot less problems. Maybe it's only your problems that keep you from getting bored.
What do you think we do all day, sit around fireplaces and read Bibles? We ski, swim, play sports, read, have friends and problems like anybody else. Christianity is not boring. It is an adventure.
