I am a national of India and I need to go to Matamoros, Mexico to get my visa stamped. This is for renewing my US visa at the US consulate in Matamoros, Mexico. However, since I am an Indian national, I will need a permit to enter Mexico, will I get this at the border? I will not stay for longer than a day in Mexico.

Present your Indian passport and your US visa at the border. Mexico will provide you a travel visa for your short stay in Mexico.
