Christ as in Jesus?
Jesus was never into Christmas to begin with. But he is now more associated with Christmas.
But this analogy is poor, illogical. We cannot put a cat back to caterpillar because a cat was never attached to caterpillar before.
Did some parts of the word became detached lately like Christmas became mas and caterpillar became pillar. LOL

Puting christ back into Christmas, may be harder than installing a cat in a caterpillar. Both likely will never happen world wide. Can happen individually.
