and distant that he makes me feel so uncomfortable around him? Trouble is i still have all the feelings for him and still want him but i dont go on about this ever to him. Why is it he will call me and we spend hours on the phone, on and off during a day, conversation flows naturally but when he is face to face he has not much to say and he acts cold and distant,im confused? I miss his company so it is really bugging me that he is acting this way and not being himself around me anymore apart from over the phone. What is going on in his head?

He's being wishy-washy - says he doesn't want to go out anymore but won't let go by not texting you and coming to see you.
I would say, move on and hang out with your friends, have a good time and meet new people. In no time, you won't be worried about him and how he acts anymore.

either he regrets ending it with you and is struggling to make up his mind on if he wants you still or not or he is a prick doinf it to mess with you i dont know if you want to see how hee really feels tell him over the phone how you feel about this since thats the only time he is civil towards you and then tell him if he wants to talk to you or see you that he has to do it in person and no more phone calls that will show you real fast what he is really all about if he truelly cares he wont mind and will come around

Basically he is afraid of making a move to get you back, or work on the relationship again. He doesn't want to be rejected by you and probably can't handle that again. You didn't say what caused the breakup. So it is difficult to answer this any more except you can make the move to him and ease his pain and indifference since you want to be with him.

He's probably feeling he doesnt want to be with you, but he hasnt found another girl yet so keeping you interested is comforting to him. So hell text and talk but when he gets together with you hes thinking what am I doing? I dont want to be with this girl! I dont think its shyness, or he would have been like that when you were together.

he is playing w/your emotions. let him know that it bothers you that he acts different in person than what he does on the phone. If he still does it than maybe you need to move on as hard as that sounds. Good luck to you.

memories? being with you brings back the good times you had so when you are toegther thats all he thinks about and if you have hurt him when you broke up then he might feel very angry when you two are together.
