ive gained some weight recently and i know i have to get back to shape, but i can never get to just excercise. i'm always saying things like "okay, excercising tomorrow for sure" but it never happens because i get to lazy the next day! i want to excercise, but the thought of "struggling" and killing myself on a treadmill makes me not want too...

can you please motivate me?

Try to dance instead of exercising. Its fun and you will not notice how much effort u put in it. Besides its an opportunity to make new friends

You'll never get to your "ideal" body by eating crap food and sitting around, no matter how much you want it to happen. You have to DO something about it! It takes dedication to get the body you want!

Look at fitness magazines for inspiration. Is that extra cookie REALLY worth it? Think of the long term effects. A moment on the lips, FOREVER on the hips.

Make it like a game. How much weight can you lose? It's so rewarding to see the number on the scale drop.

Hang pictures of the body type you what on the fridge and cupboards, so when you want to mindlessly snack, you'll see the pictures, stop, think, and move on. But NEVER stop eating!

Also, take some pictures of yourself in a bathing suit or underwear and keep them. Every two weeks or so, take a new picture - Are the results what you wanted, or do you have to WORK at getting the body shape you want?

Prove it to yourself you DO have the willpower to get what you want.

Also, if you can, find a weight loss partner. You two will keep each other in check - If one of you wants seconds or that candy bar, the other one will slap his/her hand and tell him/her NO. Join a gym together and set schedule dates - Pressure each other into NOT wimping out.

You should take before and after pics every other month and see the results and it will make you want to get in better shape and make you want to excercise more.

Best motivation I can think of is looking in the mirror. That's what got me to lose 60 lbs two years ago. Nothings easy though. You still have to do the work, but the mirror is good motivation.
