My exs mother is still hoping out that I will get back with him but there is no way I'd want that.
Do you still fancy him or is he just someone you used to know? Do you want him to move to a different continent or you to move to be with him? If you don't like him are you thinking about him because you are single and don't want to be lonely?

This is extremely bizarre, but I do think she is trying to arrange to get you back together and married, and I am guessing from the context that this family is of a different nationality than you. It may be perfectly acceptable to have "arranged" marriages in that nationality, so it may not seem bizarre to her to shove her oar in. But this is certainly telling you something about the kind of relationship you would have w the in-laws, even if everything had worked out w the BF the first time around - as in, they don't see boundaries the same way that you do. Doesn't this whole process make you feel like a cow or a goat, anyway?

I think his family adores you and his mom would like you as a daughter in law and most like also wants her son married. I can honestly say I would not put to much thought on what his mom wants and says. She may be a wonder full lady but if he wanted to get back together with you and or marry you, he would be speaking for himself not through his mother. Also since it has been 4 years I am sure you will have much to catch up on so a wedding might not be what he is thinking at this point.
Waite it out and see what attempts he makes to contact you after all I am sure mom gave him your email, and address, phone #.

He is married. Do you even have a clue what that means? It means he has given a vow to someone that he will "forsake all others........." which he will not now do. Why? Because he is so massively IMMATURE that he cannot and will not abide in a promise because he is still so vastly NEEDY that he will break his vow and go outside the marriage to find some kind of satisfaction to the juvenile mentality he has. He is still just a child that does not have the capacity to hold to a spoken, verbal COMMITMENT in the scrutiny of the public unto another person. What makes you think he will hold to ANYTHING you have to say or anything you could offer when he has already proved to everyone around him that he is UNTRUSTWORTHY, UNDISCIPLINED, a LIAR and a CHEAT? But then, this is the CHARACTER you desire in a man. What does that say about your own character?

Look at it this way, Hon....
The lady not only approves of you, she obviously likes you...may even see you as the daughter she never had, if she has none of her own.
now, it could be your ex wants things to continue as is, in other words he, like you, chooses to be just good friends.
In that vein he may be dating another lady...that his mom doesn't like....put two and two together....
..or he's been crying on Mom's shouldr that he really wants to get back together with you, unbeknownst to you, and Mom is now on a mission to make Sonny-Boy a happy camper.
...or she's gotten Mother-In-Law/Weddding fever and has decided you two belong together....
noneof the above is strange or bizarre...very normal.
In the end, the only two whose feelings matter in this are you and your ex.....if you yourself are not romatically inteested in him anymore, just treat the situation with his Mom gently and with good humor....eventually she'll run outta steam. Good Luck...

She's obviously got you earmarked as a daughter-in-law! I wouldn't worry about it, You and your ex are both grown-ups who can make their own decisions. He is probably irritated that she is trying to 'arrange' his marriage!
At least she still has a fondness for you, unlike some exes mothers. She will come round, and in a few years time her son will bring home the woman he is destined for, as you will find the man for you.
Who knows, maybe your children will fall in love and marry lol!

Tell her to stop playing match maker. Her son ruined everything and he's not the one for you.
