At what period in human evolution did we gain souls that can live for eternity?
Given that we evolved from the same source as all other living creatures on the planet there was obviously a time when humanity became distinct from all other living creatures by being given a soul by God.
When did this happen. Was it at the time of Christ's crucifiction?

There's no such thing as a "soul", nor a "God", and we don't "live for eternity".

I asked a question a few weeks ago at what point does the soul enter the body, most people said at conceptions... so by their logic, if a single cell is capable of sustaining a human soul, then you should be able to transfer a human soul into an amoeba ;)

There is no such thing as a soul. It is an invention of mankind just as all the gods were and are.

I believe any creature whose brain is developed enough to enable it to feel love has a soul. So I believe souls came about long before the advent of the genus Homo.

reliable question. i've got faith we've continuously had souls, its what could desire to make us distinctive from animals. it quite is our ethical experience that's continuously evolving and making us improve in the direction of starting to be further and extra non secular . i've got faith that that's what's going to exchange mankind thoroughly and optimistically save the human race from destruction. Er, what is a soul?
The "soul" is just a thought process that is utilised by those who have difficulties in understanding that life is not a dress rehearsal for some great hereafter and death is a permanent fixture of life.

I think the crucifixion was when He SAVED man's souls but I think he put the first souls into Adam and Eve and I believe they were early modern man (homosapian) because the bible mentions that Cain was a tiller of the soil and agriculture with tools did not come into being until around 10,000 BC.

I have checked several anatomy text books and find no illustration or reference for a "soul." Perhaps you can provide more detail.

We did not gain a soul. We are a living soul. Adam became a living soul when God breathed the breath of life into him. Genesis 2:7 The Bible clearly says that the soul that is sinning will die. Ezekiel 18 :4 & 20.
