My partner and I are not engaging in intercourse yet, we are however engaging in very heavy petting...though we leave our underwear on, I was wondering...if he has an orgasm and he ejaculates, could the sperm soak through?

Okay, maybe I should rephrase my question...can it get me pregnant?
And if somebody would mind telling me why my asking this question to make sure that I'm being safe classifies me as to young for this?

Don't let them get to you, Lisa. It's a good question and if you are old enough to ask it so sincerely, you are old enough for the answer.
Yes, it can soak through, but it is not likely that you could get pregnant even from what you might touch. It's a pretty long swim from being filtered thru his underwear to getting into your vagina and "committing" fertilization. But if you are touching him and then yourself, you could get into trouble.
And it is rather hard at times, when passion runs high,to always follow any kind of safe plan.
I guess I would worry more that things might get out of hand just once and that you will go farther than you might intend. I know it sounds corny and you will be shaking your head, but if you can't talk to your parents, do talk to someone in person about your activities and get some face to face advice. Get it from someone who loves you, or at least one you care for and respect.
I don't care if you are 12. If you are engaged in sexual activity you should have ALL of the information. It isn't enough to tell a person that they are too young, so ask until you get answers, knock on the door until someone opens it.

It depends on how dense the clothing is, I would think, and the volumn of semen discharged into that fabric or material. This might make for an interesting independent study. Otherwise, you are githa bout sperm, temperature can kill sperm below body temperature very fast.

No... it can "soak" through...
chances are very very slim that you would have a problem... if somehow some of the ejaculate got under your underwear.. it could possibly cause a problem. Like around the legs or waistband... but.. that is highly unlikely...

The sperm has to make its way to your egg.
If you're both leaving your underwear on, there is no way that I know of for you to get pregnant.
If you're really worried about this, have your boyfriend wear a condom.

Possible!
Sperm are very small and can pass through your own body fluids and get to you egg. That is their job to find that egg.
Probable, No
You can also exchange body fluids and HIV is at risk.

Yes it can.Remember sperms are microscopic and underwear is not a sealed surface,it has pores. However its highly unlikely you would get pregnant .but still there is a small probability of it happening....Just dont do it.

it can but its very rare as sperm doesn't survive in the outside air for long. So you are fine don't worry.
Because its a very obvious question and anyone with a good understanding of sex would know the answer

No. Just don't rub it in you and you will be fine. You need to read up on pregnancy and sex. It sounds like you guys are very young.
