It means he isn't interested to contact you. If you try to contact him after he lost interest, then you will simply be bothering him, and then he will react in one of two ways (probably).
If he's a nice guy, he'd try to make you feel better by talking to you, which I think would be a mistake.
If he's intelligent, then he would not talk to you, and he would do whatever he could to simply sever the link between you. After 6 months, you should not be wondering any more.
He probably opened a new email account so that he would not get any more unwanted emails from you, or to make sure that his new girlfriend wouldn't see that you are still trying to contact him.

Well your case isn't rare, a lot of guys don't like 2 have contact with their x because it makes them feel uncomfortable kinda like their mind is saying, "Ok so what you're not my gf anymore why are u still talking 2 me?" i have had this happen 2 me and don't worry it passes over time.

I think you are too clingy. I mean 6 months ago he last wrote to you. Maybe you should learn to let go. He could be married now for all you know.

If he has not been replying to your email for 6 months it is time to let him go and stop harassing him (trust me, that is what he is thinking). Stop emailing him and embarrassing yourself. You don't want to be known as that "stalker" girl now do you?

Yes, that's exactly what it means. Once you accept that, you're going to be free - free to get on with your life!
