nice comment - simply believe in one less god than a religious person does, so if they can justify the reasons that they do not believe in another god, then it should be simple to see why I do not believe in their god.

Yes their is a word for it - blinkered

Mainworry - the word religion is used here as what you believe in. You did not answer the question for some strange reason!

you will have to add a fifth option, (do not have a religion)

I simply believe in one less god than a religious person does, so if they can justify the reasons that they do not believe in another god, then it should be simple to see why I do not believe in their god.

I follow an Atheist viewpoint, but it is not a religion; it is the awareness that all religions are somewhat redundant and antiquated. Thus I am not defending a faith as a one true faith, but simply acknowledging the facts that science has unearthed, and accepting the theories as better arguments for the gaps within our knowledge than any ancient scripts propose.

probably. It relies upon how some distance they take it. maximum individuals could evaluate them in simple terms no longer identifying on the ideal course, at the same time as greater extremist will circulate so some distance as hating people who carry distinctive ideals. although while you're atheist or agnostic, you're nonetheless identifying on a facet, you're categorised and you persist with your communities procedures and suggestions, so although in case you think of you're immune or diplomatic in view which you're agnostic, you rather are not. The communist social gathering of China thought they could thoroughly evade any non secular conflicts by applying in simple terms announcing we dont take part in religions. This grow to be their important mistake because of the fact in result they have been taking facets with atheist. What they could desire to have executed grow to be say they believed in ALL religions and all non-religous doctrines and for this reason they're neither for nor against any faith because of the fact they suspect in all and each thing. i assume it quite is the only thank you to kind a central authority it quite is truthfully no longer for or against any particular faith in any way shape of kind. many religions are actually not one sided. Budhism makes it possible which you would be able to locate different religions. Bahai includes the coaching of the three important midsection eastern religions into one. So needless to say they appreciate those 3 religions a great deal and wouldnt hate somebody from those religions. in maximum circumstances, it quite is going to basically be one sided and closed minded no remember if it quite is extremism. in view that maximum countries are republics or democracies, they do no longer pick one faith over the different and that they are taught tolerance.

I have to beleive that mine is the only true religion. If that were not true, then what is the point of accepting your religion. Christianity is one of the smaller of the world religions, so how do I come to such a solid conclusion? Simple, I reach that conclusion by applying the same method the other great religions of our time does. I apply the "High Holy Book" and its teaching/standards and measure where I am in relationship to where God would have me to be. Other world religions have their "High Holy Book" and they live accordingly and with the same self assurance that I have and beleive in. It is so strange that many of us beleive in the One God doctrine but the soterlogy is quite different.

Everybody thinks that their religion is the true one otherwise they would not practise it. The bible tells us that there is one God so logically there would be only one way to worship him and that is the way he wants and not how we feel is right. When God gave the law to the nation of Israel he was very specific on how they were to worship him and when they deviated from true worship they were punished. God to-day, through the pages of the bible tells us what worship is acceptable to him. There are some beautiful teaching principles that Jesus outlined in the Sermon on the Mount. Find the people that are following Jesus commands and you have found the true religion.

There is no one true religion. It is all the same God just with different names.

Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.
