Yesterday for Christmas, my 9 yr old daughter bought me the movie Resevoir Dogs, but she got me the edition with Michael Madsen on the front. I specifically asked for the one with Steve Buscemi on it. I got mad and decided to ground her for a fortnight. Her giftgiving ability is usually pretty good, but this year I was dissapointed. She gave me some lame excuse saying "daddy, I don't know the difference between the two guys". WHo can't tell the difference between Michael Madsen and Steve Buscemi?????? Should I ground her longer for lying??

YOU ARE HORRIBLE! omg you cannot do that to a child, what the hell is wrong with you, it was a mistake okay why the hell would she lie about a thing like that what exactly has she got to gain. and about you question of who can tell the difrence me and about 4 billion other people, for gods sake shes nine years old the majority of over 35's cant tell the bloddy diffrence. and she was trying to do something nice, you know christman isnt all about giving gifts, think how many people in the world a slightly diffrent gift than they wanted, if they all reacted like you we would have world war 3 on our hands man, what the hell is wrong with you. i think you should buy her a present for being so damn out f order and the the next time it happens is it such a big deal t be polite and just take or to return it to the store!!!!

You are not a very nice father! Think about how crushed that poor 9 year old was when you yelled at her for buying the wrong thing. What kind of message are you sending her about Christmas? That it only matters what you get not that you get to give or who you get to spend it with? Congratulations-your daughter at 9 will remember this for the rest of her life.

That is horrible! Why would you ground your child for giving you the wrong CHRISTMAS GIFT! You Idiot! What is wrong with you? Are you crazy, get high or something? It is a GIFT! You need to be apprecative that she gave you something, insteed of nothing. Just be glad i wasn't your daughter i would run away! Never come back. Then I would curse you out, Tell on my grand mother or other relitive on you so they can give you a peice of their mind.

I'm sorry, but it sounds like you're being a little harsh to me! Christmas is about the SPIRIT of giving! You shouldn't punish your daughter because she didn't get you EXACTLY what you wanted! How incredibly selfish! Have you never heard "it's the thought that counts"?! Your nine year-old got a you a gift. Be happy!

OMG dude!!! Are you serious? You grounded your daughter for not getting the correct version of a movie that you wanted?!?
