Okay, HDMI and component are the same in quality. The difference is component is analog singal and HDMI is digital signal.. HDMI is really only needed when you have an HDTV that is 52" or 60" at 1080p. So get a component and save money. You won't notice any difference between the two since your tv is little bit too small and its not even 1080p

If your TV was really high-end, then you might notice a difference between the two cables.

I could go on and on about these cables but if you do some research online like google.com you will find that they are about the same.

Just get the HDMI cable.

HDMI are digital. They are better. Get 1.3a cables.
