No, but just like any other group of people you may contract an STD while being in. Army people are not any different than regular civilians, they don't have more STD cases than the general population. Chances are if they had one that got one from one of the nasty benefit chasing females that hunt soldiers down trying to get one of them to marry them. Just get tested on a regular basis and find a nicer girl to have as a girlfriend next time around.

Any form of an active STD will be reason enough to fail your entrance examination. Are you displaying signs of an STD? If so you should seek treatment from your doctor!

You can't enlist with an STD, however some guys get prostitutes once they're in and they catch something, because they're to freaking stupid to keep their dick in their pants.

if it's curable, get it taken care of then enlist. if it's not - aids, herpes (possibly, not to sure about that one) - no, you can't.
soldiers catching std's over in places like korea back when i was there was nothing new.
