When doing a system wipe in an effort to cleanse your system it's generally best to start as fresh as possible. Back up the files that you absolutely can't live without and erase everything you can whether it be on your primary drive or not. Viruses can embed themselves all over your system so unless you know specifically how to remove the virus then you'll save yourself some time and effort down the line by doing a single thorough wipe rather than picking and choosing.

You don't have to wipe a secondary drive but I'd recommend that you do. The drive that your OS is going on will be wiped.

You may not need to do reinstall at all, try this first, boot to safe mode with networking, connect to the internet, download the antispyware/antivirus from www.superantispyware.com. Restart your system to normal mode, Install then run the antispyware/antivirus. If this does not work then reinstall windows by booting from windows OS CD.
