I just got engaged Christmas eve, and both my fiancee and I are big campers. Our campground is on a beautifull river, and our campground has a gazebo. I'd love to just get married outdoors and have our close family and friends down there. Something simple and fun, but very meaningful for he and I.

I'm getting married in my hometown at the courthouse. We're dressing up and just going there to get married with our parents as witnesses. That's exactly what I've always wanted too. Something simple and sweet. Then we're going out to dinner to a local restaurant where we have a private room for 4 hours. Our family and friends are invited to that.

This is especially close to my heart as my xmas present this year was an engagement ring from my beloved.
sigh..
I hope to get married to him in a botanical garden. (we have two here in the DFW area) I'd like to have a cream colored medival style dress (nothing historical just inspired by) and I want calla lillies to be the flowers.
Thats my dream, but it doesnt' matter where it is, because wherever will be beautiful because he is there.

my first wedding was in a Buddhist temple in Wimbledon, England.. it was very glorious... 17 years later, I'm divorced but if I wanted to get married again, I'd have a Buddhist wedding... then party by the beach!

i was going to get married but i'm not now and i hoping to have a garden wedding. i may have that wedding one day in the future if that is in God's plan for me.
