I thought the same thing and fought many people and God for years until I came to the realization that I didn't really know that much about the Bible. I went to a Bible study and found out the answer to MY argument and haven't stopped going for 12 years.

"If two men, a man and his countryman, are struggling together, and the wife of one comes near to deliver her husband from the hand of the one who is striking him, and puts out her hand and seizes his genitals, then you shall cut off her hand; you shall not show pity."

-Deuteronomy 25:11-12 NASB

""When you go out to battle against your enemies, and the LORD your God delivers them into your hands and you take them away captive, and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and have a desire for her and would take her as a wife for yourself, then you shall bring her home to your house, and she shall shave her head and trim her nails. She shall also remove the clothes of her captivity and shall remain in your house, and mourn her father and mother a full month; and after that you may go in to her and be her husband and she shall be your wife. "

-Deuteronomy 21:10-13 (NASB)

Man tried to teach a law for living as ONE...God made Dinosaurs as carnivores and herbivores, God made Fleas, God made Disease, God made Barbacoa Tacos and Fried Turkey Skin...IT IS "what" IT IS... write a new manual for the present generation... just be sure to include Love, Charity, and Rock n Roll as it's underlying theme. Peace.

Your not really asking a question.
You are using the Questions forum as a soapbox.
If you think the bible is not God's word, don't read it.
See where you end up.

Exactly, a PERFECT being doesn't operate by wrath and spite and vengeance and fear. It's all the trappings of man.

Remember, religion is for people who are trying to keep from going to hell. Spirituality is for people who have already been there.
