Who do Pseudo-secularists, marxists, liberals and communists always love standing up for Islam and making excuses for muslim terrorism when Islam seeks the very destruction of these ideologies???

Islam seeks a world where everyone will be Muslim...the concept of the world being divided into Muslim and non-muslim and Muslims taking Islam to the unbelievers by the use of the sword is central (as much as muslims try to dress it up)...This then means that Islam is anti-thetical to liebralism and secularism in every way.

Ironic? No. It is ironic that a Christian would ask this question--------as they say the whole world will be Christian someday---when Jesus comes back.

Islam says the exact same thing..that when Jesus comes back, the whole world will be Muslim.

Because their religion is false.

Muhammad organized 65 military campaigns in the last ten years of his life and personally led 27 of them. The more power that he attained, the smaller the excuse needed to go to battle, until finally he began attacking tribes merely because they were not part of his growing empire.

After Muhammad’s death, his most faithful followers and even his own family turned on each other almost immediately. There were four Caliphs (leaders) in the first twenty-five years. Three of the four were murdered. The third Caliph was murdered by the son of the first. The fourth Caliph was murdered by the fifth, who left a 100-year dynasty that was ended in a gruesome, widespread bloodbath by descendents of Muhammad’s uncle.

Muhammad’s own daughter, Fatima, and his son-in-law, Ali, who both survived the pagan hardship during the Meccan years safe and sound, did not survive Islam after the death of Muhammad. Fatima died of stress from persecution within three months, and Ali was later assassinated. Their son (Muhammad’s grandson) was killed in battle with the faction that became today’s Sunnis. His people became Shias. The relatives and personal friends of Muhammad were mixed into both warring groups, which then fractured further into hostile sub-divisions as Islam grew.

Muhammad left his men with instructions to take the battle against the Christians, Persians and Jews. For the next four centuries, Muslim armies steamrolled over unsuspecting neighbors, plundering them of loot and slaves, and forcing the survivors to either convert or pay tribute at the point of a sword.

The issue is not realy support of Islam but self loathing. A lot of the sme folks will condem the US use of the A-bomb in World War II depite the fact it saved countless of Japanese as well as American lives. Thee folks realy don't care about reality, if hey did they would realise the fact the nations of the Islamic world have some problems in the human rights department while western nations have more freedoms for the individual.

4. WAS ISLAM SPREAD BY THE SWORD?
Question:
How can Islam be called the religion of peace when it was spread by the sword?
Answer:
It is a common complaint among some non-Muslims that Islam would not have
millions of adherents all over the world, if it had not been spread by the use of
force. The following points will make it clear, that far from being spread by the
sword, it was the inherent force of truth, reason and logic that was responsible
for the rapid spread of Islam.
1. Islam means peace.
Islam comes from the root word ‘salaam’, which means peace. It also means
submitting one’s will to Allah (swt). Thus Islam is a religion of peace, which is
acquired by submitting one’s will to the will of the Supreme Creator, Allah (swt).
2. Sometimes force has to be used to maintain peace.
Each and every human being in this world is not in favour of maintaining peace
and harmony. There are many, who would disrupt it for their own vested
interests. Sometimes force has to be used to maintain peace. It is precisely for
this reason that we have the police who use force against criminals and antisocial
elements to maintain peace in the country. Islam promotes peace. At the
same time, Islam exhorts it followers to fight where there is oppression. The
fight against oppression may, at times, require the use of force. In Islam force
can only be used to promote peace and justice.
3. Opinion of historian De Lacy O’Leary.
The best reply to the misconception that Islam was spread by the sword is given by
the noted historian De Lacy O’Leary in the book “Islam at the cross road” (Page 8):
“History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping
through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races
is one of the most fantastically absurd myth that historians have ever repeated.”
4. Muslims ruled Spain for 800 years.
Muslims ruled Spain for about 800 years. The Muslims in Spain never used the
sword to force the people to convert. Later the Christian Crusaders came to
Spain and wiped out the Muslims. There was not a single Muslim in Spain who
could openly give the adhan, that is the call for prayers.

It is said that the misery of the people in the world is largely due to the half-baked rather than the multitude of ignoramuses!
Islam is far older than all these groups you have enlisted
When and where did you find Islamseeking to destroy them?
All owe much to Islam but have made wide interpretationsand therefore caught in the mire!
A day will comewhen they will accept their faults and adopt Islam.
If islam had been spread by the use of sword, then you would not have seen so many Christians, jews, Hindus, and other non-muslim groups!

I had to respond to A2Z's comments:

"Human Rights and Justice in Islam
Islam provides many human rights for the individual."

Ok, prove it.

"The life and property of all citizens in an Islamic state are considered sacred"

Assuming this were completely true, most secular governments in the West provide me with the same liberties.

"Islam also protects honor. So, in Islam, insulting others or making fun of them is not allowed."

This is considered a restriction on free speech. All of those great works of satire would be gone. :-(

"Racism is not allowed in Islam"

While I abhor racism, I support the freedom to hold any position.

"Islam rejects certain individuals or nations being favored because of their wealth, power, or race. God created human beings as equals who are to be distinguished from each other only on the basis of their faith and piety."

In other words, the value of a human being is in how "Muslim" they are. Gotcha. How do you feel about atheists such as myself, who have neither faith nor piety? Are we the lowest dregs of humanity?

"One of the major problems facing mankind today is racism. The developed world can send a man to the moon but cannot stop man from hating and fighting his fellow man."

And the undeveloped world is free from such conflicts? Look at Cambodia, the Congo, etc. and the rich Saudi Arabia still kills people who converted away from Islam -- at least the West seems to have advanced from its "believe or burn" days. And the Middle East is hardly free from conflict -- only now it has become religious conflicts between Sunnis and Shiites, instead of conflicts on race.

"Truly God commands you to give back trusts to those to whom they are due, and when you judge between people, to judge with justice"

Great -- can we tell this to all of the Muslims who see Shar'iah law as a central part of Islam and who support it to lash, amputate, or kill people for mingling with the opposite sex, homosexuality, adultery (and raped women without four witnesses are charged with adultery), apostates, etc?

Can Islam simply embrace the advantages of a secular government, which are superior to any individual religious code? Keep whatever beliefs you like, just don't make the rest of us follow them or accept practices that make the seventeenth century look modern.

NOTICE TO ALL READERS:

I assure you, respondant "Dracus" is not a minority in Islam. He is the norm.

QUESTION:

Its amazing isnt it. I cant think of anything more ironic and disturbing. Once understood, Islam is the furthest nighmare wacko extreme of the right-wing, yet stupid igorant leftists imagine them to be anti-corporate paladins that nicely serve fit the doctrine of "enemy of my enemy is my friend".

In fairness, I must say that when you meet a leftist who has actually done his homework on Islam, I can almost guarentee youve found someone who loathes Islam beyond a equally astute person on the right.
