Hi Marija. I gather that the dog you had died. I'm sorry to hear that. It's always very sad to lose a pet, especially at Christmas time.
I used to have a Cocker spaniel. They're nice, but they were originally bred for helping with hunting, so they run away chasing smells on the ground a lot. I think a poodle would be a better pet.
Best of luck.

A what? Do you mean Poodle and Cocker spaniel?

Take a look at info about both breeds and decide which one is best suited for you.

Cocker Spaniels are very bouncy and active dogs, they need lots of walks.... they always jump in water and tend to jump up at people with very wet muddy paws! They are not calm house dogs and do need lots of stimulation.

Check out the breed characteristics. For Poodle and Cocker Spaniel

A Cocker Spaniel (or any other breed) won't be a baby forever - please don't buy a cute puppy unless you're sure you can care for it as an adult as well.

Cocker Spaniels are the most likely breed to bite and Poodles are the third most likely so I'd have to say Poodles.
