Ok so you know how shampoo and conditioner always smells fruity or like it's got some nice perfume in it. Well if these shampoo companies made a shampoo or conditioner smell more masculine do you think men would be more inclined to buy it and do you think women would buy it for their men? I guess i think stuff like that should be made for both sexes and not designed just for women.

i'm not saying a man can't like perfumed or ffruity smelling shampoos but if the option were available today for men to buy like an axe type smelling shampoo would they. Personally i would rather my husband smell like his CK One cologne than a piece of fruit.

I think most men would just stick to Old Spice, women like the fruity smells and I think men like them too, they just like it on women more.Maybe men would buy fruity shampoos if the bottle didn't look so girly.I wonder would guys buy fruity shaving cream (LOL)?

Lol....men don't care if their shampoo smells like raspberry smoothie or coconut ice milk. Watch in the shampoo aisle a couple of times. Women will pop the top and smell the shampoo before they buy it, men won't.
Now, on the flip side, if a lady were to say, "Hair that smells like strawberries drives me wild."....then a guy would smell every strawberry shampoo to see which one smells the strongest, lmao. Axe has a brilliant marketing ploy, don't they?

Of course. I use items such as Old Spice, Axe, etc. because it has a nice cologne aroma to it I guess you could say. Plus women like the smell when I go out at night or even during the day.

I think it depends on what exactly the masculine smell would be. When you say masculine I think things like car grease. lol! I think a man would be more inclined to buy something a little more masculine, but I think a woman would still want the other stuff.

I think both men and women enjoy nice odors and colors and everything. I have found it amazing that some people think "men" should wear only certain colors of clothing or certain scents in perfume. Let everyone enjoy what they like!
