im a cheerleader. season starts in 1 week. should i get my belly pierced??

there is a part in our routine where i have to reach back (stretching my stomach) will i be too sore to do it??

My kids aren't allowed to pierce anything just before or during season. Ditto for summer camp.

It might be a good idea to wait until after the season is over.
Your piercing will be very sore for a few months, and doing certain routines (like the one you talk about) may irritate it.

That and some coaches don't allow the players to wear piercings, your cheerleading coach may be the same way and make you take it out for games and such. Can't take out a fresh piercing unless you intend for it to close. That's just asking for an infection.

I wouldn't do that at all. As usually a rash can accompany a new piercing. But if you are a risk taker you should be able to handle it.

you better check what is allowed by your cheer coach. not a lot of them allow piecrings
