Is there free downloadable similar to the software that comes with the Girl Tech video Journal. If you don't know what this is its a camera that comes with software where you can make journal pages and add little pictures to your photos like hearts and stars.

Try Photoshop or Zoom Browser.

Hopefully this will help explain it for you.
Almost every camera on the market comes with it's own exclusive software and comes with the camera on a seperate CD. This software normally gives entry level options that allow you to add text, dates, etc. Again, most have updates and upgrades from the manufacture of the camera's
As I mentioned most of these are entry level and give very few options to really make your photo's or video's something out of the norm.
You can find some that have different degree's and capabilties in the way of proffesional Photoand Image editing software, like Adobe's Photoshop CS.
Now comes the bad news. You can download free trials of many of the softwares like Photoshop, these are proffesional softwares and are very expensive. Bear in mind there are literally hundreds on the market that give different degrees of preformance and ease of use. You will have to do a Google search for some of these other softwares JACS, and Paintshop Pro. Type in (Free Photo Editing Software).
I find that you generally get what you pay for and I use Adobe's Programs exclusively.
