this is a question of facts, not our personal opinion. Personally I feel that one who uses drugs should not be in the military but the truth is your file is purged after I believe 3-4 yrs at MEPS. So the answer is yes. you just do not divulge the prior information.

It has been along time since I was at the meps and had to take a drug test when trying to join the military, but I don't think failing for marijuana was a permanent disqualification. Marijuana use is only a misdemeanor, unless I am mistaken and I know they don't bar you from service for those. It is only felonies that can keep you out permanently. Although, I do remember that there was a long period of time before you could apply again. Things might have changed since then though, so take this with a grain of salt. To bad my knees disqualified me in the end, or I would be proudly serving today still.

N O, The MEPS will put your name on a HOLD LIST and that will prevent you from joining later.

F'ing NO and why should you? Can your compatriats trust you after taking drugs? Are you not endangering the lives f others who are dependent on you - and you're fit for F all? Don't even bother, loser.
