Belief really has little to do with the theory of evolution. Its not whether or not you believe in the theory its a matter of accepting or denying the theory. Anyway I know carbon based right hand apes like to through ism and ists at the end of terms. But does it make any sense to call someone an evolutionists? You might as well call them people that believe in Biology. Or something along those lines. I think that word is retarded.

Your thoughts?

Evolutionist is a word made up by religionists, who don't have the education to know any of the correct words for this.

Biology is the study of all living things. I believe in micro evolution, where species gradually change over time. New species of plants are discovered every week that have never been seen before! Science and Science facts change and are re-written. Not everything in Scientic fact is written in stone. Except certain inaleinable facts...What goes up, must come down in the law of gravity, for example. People no longer believe that the earth is flat do they?

Speaking of Genius, Did you know that Albert Einstein took time everyday to Watch Beanie and Cecil? I goes to show you, that you cannot be oh So Serious all the time. Even he had a sense of humor.

The Term Evolutionist is a valid one...Evolutionists believe they evolved from monkeys, apes and amoebas and they have been looking for their closest kin every since. I don't argue with them, they know their family lines and genealogy better than we do! LOL

You say "Belief really has little to do with the theory of evolution." I submit to you a contradiction. Just as you said it's "accepting or denying the THEORY." Keywords being "accept" (which is believing), and "theory" (which is a system of "ideas" based on general principles, abstract knowledge, and "speculation" according to Websters), and those who accept it are known as evolutionists. We've been through this before, why must we keep going over it again and again?

If there are people that believe in evolution, yes.

"Belief really has little to do with the theory of evolution. Its not whether or not you believe in the theory its a matter of accepting or denying the theory."

To accept or deny require some form of belief. So yes a level of faith is involved;you might not call it a religion, but faith and belief are still involved.

I basically agree with you, but it gets the point across. The only problem is it doesn't tell you about their religious beliefs because it is possible for a person to accept evolution and still be a Christian (or some other religion).

Maybe I should start referring to myself as an evolutionist atheist. But that's almost redundant.
